    • 2L hydration reservoir (optional). Food-grade TPU bladder. Insulated tube routes over the shoulder to a glove-friendly bite valve.
    • Front shelf flips out for easy access. Grab your phone, wallet, or keys one-handed without taking the rig off.
    • Carries everything you need without the bulky backpack. Front for what you grab mid-ride: phone, wallet, keys. Rear for what you pack: rain jacket, tools, snacks.
    • Easy to use and adjust with gloves on. Large zipper pulls, magnetic side buckles, and smooth-cinching side straps.
    • No annoying flappy straps. Velcro and elastic hold the strap ends down so they don't whip you at speed.
    • Extremely comfortable for long rides. Wide padded shoulder straps. Entire inner surface lined with breathable air mesh and foam.

Will it fit? To ensure a good fit, put your gear on and measure your torso in-line with your bottom rib. If the measurement falls between 32" to 62" (81.3cm to 157.5cm), the rig will fit well.

Drivers don't miss this rig.

Most drivers who hit a rider say the same thing afterwards. "Sorry, I didn't see you." This chest rig makes sure they do.

The entire exterior reflects, not a strip. The moment headlights touch it, you light up in the driver's line of sight. Be seen, ride safer.

Set up once, then on in ten seconds.

No other chest rig page shows you this. Here's the whole routine.

First-time setup Once. Then never again.
1
Put it on and cinch it snug

Put it on and cinch it snug

Put it on over your riding gear and cinch the side straps until it sits snug against your chest.

2
Tuck the strap tails

Tuck the strap tails

Take it off and then tuck the straps into the Velcro elastic keeper. You only do this once.

Every ride after On in 10 seconds.

Throw it on, buckles snap together

Magnetic side buckles snap together without looking, even with gloves on. Phone, wallet and keys ride up front, one flip away.

The ride home is where riders disappear.

Dusk, black jacket, black bike, a driver waiting at a side street with their mind on dinner. That's the exact moment this rig was built for. The entire exterior reflects, so the first thing headlights find on the road is you.

A commuter told us it's "like having an extra riding light on my chest." A riding instructor in Portland had a colleague follow her and watch it light up the second her headlights touched it.

Reflective across the entire exterior, not a strip
Never pull over to dig for your stuff again.

Never pull over to dig for your stuff again.

No more stopping the bike to fish through a backpack or jacket pocket with gloves on. The Chest Rig Pro splits your load the way you actually use it. Up front, the 3L flip-out shelf holds what you grab mid-ride: phone, wallet, keys, one-handed without taking the rig off. Out back, 9.5L swallows what you pack: rain jacket, tool roll, snacks, plus a dedicated sleeve for the back protector and room for the water bladder.

And it beats a backpack doing it. One rider put it best after switching: the wind pulling on his backpack was "just painful" and now he can't imagine riding without the rig. Wide padded straps and a fully air-mesh-lined back mean you forget it's on, even on 200-mile days.

12.5L total: 3L front shelf + 9.5L rear compartment

The Chest Rig Pro is built directly from this feedback. These reviews are from the original rig, shown here so you can see exactly what riders loved and what we fixed. Pro reviews will show here once they start coming in.

From Chris. Founder, MotoLoot.

"I didn't really design the Chest Rig Pro. You did. The original rig picked up over a hundred reviews, and buried in the five stars were the same requests, over and over. A rider in Victoria wrote that when someone finally builds hydration into a chest rig, 'you will sell heaps.' Riders in Texas said it sagged unless you ran it tight. Smaller riders wanted more adjustment, bigger riders wanted more range, and everyone hated flapping strap ends.

So this one gets a proper rear compartment with a sleeve for a CE Level 2 back protector and room for a 2L reservoir, a 32 to 62 inch fit range, and keepers that pin every strap tail down. Every one of those decisions traces back to a review. Keep writing them. I read every single one."

Common questions

Will it fit me? I'm smaller / bigger than average.

Put your riding gear on and measure around your torso in line with your bottom rib. If that lands between 32" and 62" (81 to 157 cm), it fits. The original rig ran big and smaller riders told us about it, so the Pro's adjustment range was rebuilt to actually reach 32". Always measure with your jacket on, not off.

Does it sag forward when it's loaded up?

Run it snug and it won't. The wide padded shoulder straps and smooth-cinching side straps let you get it tight without pressure points, and splitting weight between the 3L front and 9.5L rear keeps it balanced instead of nose-heavy. This was the most common critique of the original rig and it drove the Pro's strap redesign.

Can I wear it over my jacket and armor?

Yes, that's how it's designed to be worn. It fits over textile and leather jackets, armored or not. One of our customers wears theirs over an armored jacket and told us there's still room to spare. Just take your torso measurement with the jacket on.

Does the back protector replace my jacket's armor?

It adds to it. The optional back protector is CE Level 2 certified under EN 1621-2, the higher of the two impact ratings, and slides into a dedicated sleeve in the rear compartment. If your jacket has no back protector (most come with foam placeholders), this is a real upgrade without buying a strap-on vest.

How does the hydration setup work with a helmet on?

The 2L food-grade TPU reservoir sits in the rear compartment. The insulated tube routes over your shoulder to a bite valve you can operate with gloves on. The slimline mouthpiece is designed to slip between your chin bar and your mouth, so you drink without lifting anything, full-face helmet included.

Is it waterproof?

Water resistant in light showers, with YKK AquaGuard sealed zips keeping spray out. One of our customers told us they rode through torrential downpours at freeway speeds and nothing got in. But we'll say it straight: it's not a dry bag, so don't trust paper documents to it in a storm.

Why is it better than other chest rigs?

Google "motorcycle chest rig" and you'll notice the others are mostly black. Hard for drivers to see during the day, almost impossible at night. This one is insanely reflective across the entire exterior, so drivers actually notice you.

Then there's the flip-out shelf: most rigs are just a small bag that's hard to get your hands into with gloves on, while this one flips outwards and opens really wide, with gussets so your stuff can't fall out. Add the CE Level 2 back protector sleeve, the 2L hydration option, glove-friendly zips and magnetic buckles, and full air mesh padding, and there isn't another rig that does all of it.

Why is it so expensive?

Short answer: this rig is proper high quality, and quality materials aren't cheap. I hate getting a product I'm excited about only for it to feel cheap and break after a couple of rides. So this one is built from the good stuff: extremely reflective OEKO-TEX 100 certified exterior that's water and scratch resistant, YKK AquaGuard zips with large pulls, magnetic buckles, air mesh padding across the entire inner surface, and seatbelt-quality nylon straps. And it's backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We won't let you be disappointed.

How much can it hold?

12.5L all up, split into two compartments. The 3L front compartment flips open on the shelf with internal organisation for your phone, wallet, keys and small items, plus elastic loops for tools and a clip for your garage key. The 9.5L rear compartment takes a folded rain jacket, tool roll and snacks, and still has a dedicated sleeve for the back protector and room for the 2L water bladder.

One of our customers told us they fit a phone, keys, flashlight, multitool, pen, notebook, wallet, power bank and cables in there with room to spare.

Does it glow?

It's extremely reflective, but it doesn't emit light itself. The fabric bounces light straight back at its source, so the instant a driver's headlights touch it, you light up in their line of sight. No batteries, no charging, nothing to fade. It works every time headlights do.
