Be seen and live

Features insanely reflective, aramid backed panels that are durable and increase visibility. Panel shape is inspired by road signs to draw attention.

Not a shiny plastic bag

Other drybags look cheap and shiny. Not ours. It's made from premium nylon TPU with a matte finish so it looks like a proper backpack.

More than just a big sack

Most drybags are just one big sack with no organization. Not this one. It has multiple pockets for your laptop, phone, water bottle, and other stuff.

Never worry about rain

Magnetic closure, roll top, Nylon TPU layers and high-frequency welded seams ensure complete waterproofing and your stuff will stay bone dry.

No more sore shoulders

Contoured straps, magnetic chest buckle, and thick waist strap evenly distribute weight - reducing strain on your shoulders and back.

No loose flappy straps

We all hate backpacks with straps that flap in the wind, repeatedly whacking you. So this backpack features elastic and plastic loops that hold all strap ends.

Less wind drag

Features an aerodynamic shape, no external pockets and no flappy straps. This means less wind drag and no sore shoulders after a long ride.

Beyond my expectations!!

This bag's quality and capacity are more than I could've ever expected!! Can't wait for it to cool off a bit in AZ to use it more!

I’ve had this backpack since November 2025

I’ve had this backpack since November 2025. It’s something I’ve used countless times when I need some (or lots of) storage on the go. I picked this one for its waterproof capability since I live in Florida. I don’t typically ride in rain but when I have it has kept everything inside dry. The reflective features are amazing, I love that the front straps are reflective a bit too. I really appreciate the fact it has the two buckles on the front with the bottom one being adjustable and it has clips to keep the straps from flapping everywhere when you pick up speed. The inside has a sleeve for lap top or iPad, which is awesome. And it has a few other nice pockets and even a water bottle spot with an adjustable tightening strap. This bag can store a lot more than I thought. There was a trip I took to the store and bought more than I thought I needed and I can’t believe how much I fit in there. It was needlessly heavy but it did the job! Oh and lastly it has a really nice padding on the back for comfort. I will definitely shop for more items here in the future. I may even get the smaller reflective backpack.

Best investment thus far!

This backpack has been the best investment so far. I waited to do my review until I rode through a downpour- it handled it no problem! I’m also very happy with how much space is in the bag. I ordered the back protector as well and it takes up no room. If you are on the fence about this backpack- I say pull the trigger! You will be pleased with how waterproof it is and how much it can hold. I’ve gotten several compliments already!

Do not leave the house without it.

I absolutely love the backpack so much, I also use it for hiking and cycling. I do not leave the house without it :-).
I am a slim woman and it fits really snug, no pressure on the boobs.
My bike jacket has a build in back protector and that has no affect on the backpack, it carries wonderful and I do hardly feel it at all even with all my clothes, water bottle and laptop in it.
The bag has so much space, I compared it with the handbag of Hermione (Harry Potter reference), it must have an undetectable extension charm :-).

A game changer for nightly commutes, especially in during a rain storm

I’ve just received this as an early Christmas gift (to myself)! I commute to work mostly by motorcycle, so rain gear is a necessity. Everything transferred from my old daily backpack with some room to spare, so that’s a good thing! As of today, I have not had to ride with it in the rain, so I’m looking forward to my first rainy commute, especially at night. The main reason I purchased this backpack was because how well it reflects the light. High visibility is a must, when riding. Especially, during a downpour!

I love this bag it’s so big and it holds all my things perfectly, my laptop, shoes, and my lunch. I haven’t taking it out in the rain but I can tell by the construction of the backpack that it is waterproof. I also love how reflective it is. Thank you motoloot and thank you Chris for inventing it.

Waterproof Glowrider Backpack

This backpack has more than enough room to take what I need for a 16hr day. I ride to work 3-5x per week and having a bag that was too small to carry everything I needed was starting to become a pain in my ass. I'm glad I transitioned over to this bag. Plus the extra reflective outer strips helps other drivers see me better now. Especially during my early morning commute when it's still dark out.

Backpack? Nah, back protector!!

Chris!

Dude!! Solid backpack! Great design, plenty of cargo space, tough exterior and a soft interior for all your goods! This thing survived a wreck and protected me in the accident. Quality build and construction. No leaks after the wreck, either!! Please keep the great products coming 🙏 I am a forever customer.

Really fantastic bag and company

Awesome bag! I can carry everything I need in it and more without feeling heavy somehow. I’ll probably be purchasing a second one in the future just because I like it so much. It being waterproof is a huge bonus and brings another sense of security along with the reflecties! Thank you motoloot, been spreading the word about yall. Great company with great products!

Glorious - just watch out for Customs Tax (UK)

This bag is awesome. One of the best bits of bike kit I've seen in a while. The reflective strips are great for riding in craggy UK weather and low visibility, the clasps are secure, straps comfy, and big - all my work kit fits snug and arrives at destination dry (again, UK weather tested). Only downside is the price and subsequent UK Customs Tax. Beware any orders that exceed £135 (including postage costs) - you'll get walloped with an extra 30%+ charge on top.

Amazing backpack

I didn't have super high expectations, but this thing is great! It really cuts through the wind and the geometry of the buckle really saves your back. The fidlock style chest clasp works great. The volume the backpack can hold is great, and the best part, of course, is the bah is hi-viz and waterproof. On the interstate, cars would regularly hang back multiple car lengths behind me before the sun rose on my commute.

solidly made backpack

Seems a solidly made backpack, waterproof within reason, highly almost blindingly reflective, magnetic latch is very cool, I may know more after it gets used in "anger"

All claims are true.

What sets this backpack apart from the less expensive model is not only the waterproofing, but also the harness. Though magnetic, it locks up securely, and it delivers a huge step up in comfort. I have literally forgotten I had it on.
The inside is air tight and rolling the enclosure and trapping air in it works as advertised. Basically, all claims are true. I'm usually not a backpack guy, but this one changed all of that, and now my son who also rides is getting one for Christmas after admiring the one I bought for me.

Update on the backpack

I wanted to change my 4 star to 5. I've had the pack a few months now, and it's gone through some serious Florida showers---those are the ones where I get soaked through my jacket, my shoes express water when I get off the bike, and I'm pretty sure that somehow the top of my head gets wet under the helmet.
But everything in my bag stays dry, especially my work 17in lappie that was snug inside the layered pocket. There's a number of small spaces in the pack for isolated storage, but I'll tell you that I have carried my gym clothes, work clothes, computer, tablet, lunch, and some drinks (it was a long day), and all of it fits comfortably. The pack even came with a belt to settle weight on your hips, if you're gonna go hiking. I never use it, because the magnetic clip holds it perfectly and my desk jockey job doesn't need extra.
Stitching has held up, the pack is tough, and it holds a ton comfortably. Now, if I could just change my PREVIOUS 4 star, instead of creating an average 4.5 star, everything would be great.
Buy the backpack, no regrets.

Just as expected!

Exactly as expected and well lit for high visibility!

Good bag, hits a lot of high points

Got it a few days ago, and I haven't hit hot weather yet. Would get 5 stars, but it really needs an outside pocket or two, plus a side open for that computer slipcase.
But what it does RIGHT: It's big, is reasonably well organized inside, and has a few loops to be able to hang things off of on the outside. Seams look good and the fit is very comfortable, with a lot of adjustment being possible. (I'm 5'9", 175lbs, reasonably good shape, for comparison). it's got a LOT of open space inside. Easy weekend pack--I'll be using mine for commuting, but get caught in storms sometimes.
All in all, I've spent more to get less value. If you need a backpack that looks like it can take all the weather, this is a way to go. If I haven't updated this, it means it's worth it.

Thanks for taking the time to leave such a detailed review :)

I did thoroughly test external pockets!

The first three prototypes actually had external pockets. I removed them because the waterproof zippers were not waterproof enough.
Since the fabric and seams are fully waterproof, any water that gets in through the zipper has no way to drain. This leaves you with a small pool sitting inside the pocket.

FAQs

Most motorcycle backpacks aren’t designed properly for riders - but this one fixes all the common issues:

  • Extremely reflective: High-quality reflective panels on all sides light up brightly under headlights, making you visible from every angle and helping drivers see you.
  • Actually waterproof: High-frequency welded seams, roll top, and premium nylon TPU keep your gear dry even in heavy rain.
  • Super comfortable: Contoured straps, magnetic chest buckle, and thick waist strap evenly distribute weight - reducing strain on your shoulders and back.
  • Aerodynamic design: Smooth shape and no external flaps or pockets means reduced wind drag and prevents tugging while you ride.
  • Organization pockets: Internal laptop, phone, and water bottle pockets keep your gear organized.
  • Contoured shoulder straps: Specifically shaped so they won’t dig in or restrict your movement on the bike.
  • Won’t slide around: magnetic chest buckle and thick waist strap means it stays secure on your back even when you’re leaning or moving.
  • No flappy straps: Elastic and plastic loops keep strap ends neat and stop them from flapping in the wind.
  • Can carry a helmet: Includes tie-down straps so you can secure your helmet externally when off the bike.
  • Comes with pillion tie-down straps: Four included straps let you easily secure the backpack to your pillion seat.
  • Magnetic buckles: Super secure and easy to operate even while wearing gloves.
  • Magnetic roll top closure: The top of the roll top is magnetic, so it snaps shut easily before you roll it down.
  • Hypalon base: The base is covered in a layer of super durable Hypalon. So you'll never have to worry about putting it down on a rough surface.

In short: this backpack solves all the common rider complaints - waterproof, reflective, comfortable, secure, aerodynamic, and actually made for riders.

Short answer: this reflective, waterproof backpack is proper high quality and packed with features others don't have.

Detailed answer: I didn't want to create another cheaply made, uncomfortable 'waterproof' plastic sack.

So I made this backpack from premium materials with features that make it better and easier to use for riders. This includes:

  • Premium nylon TPU exterior that looks like a proper backpack, not a shiny plastic sack.
  • Aramid backed reflective panels that are durable and insanely reflective.
  • Hypalon covers the base for added durability.
  • Double walled design with high-frequency welded seams and a roll top closure for true waterproof performance.
  • Contoured straps designed to be comfortable even when reaching or leaning forward.
  • Aerodynamic shape with no external pockets or flaps so the wind won’t tug at speed.
  • Internal pockets for better organization (other waterproof bags are just a big empty sack).
  • Magnetic buckles that are easy to use with gloves without looking.
  • Four included tie-down straps so you can securely mount it to your pillion seat or carry your helmet.

We also have fantastic customer support and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We won’t let you be disappointed.

Inside you’ll find a padded laptop/back protector sleeve, phone sleeve, a mesh water bottle sleeve with drawstring closure, a mesh zip pocket and 4 dump pouches.

It’s designed to keep you organized - unlike most drybags which are just a big empty sack.

Yes, no problem.

The included tie-down straps let you securely carry your helmet on the outside of the backpack when you’re off the bike.

To attach it, simply loop 2 of the tie-down straps through your helmet chin bar, clip them to the backpack side attachment points, then tighten the straps.

Yes, no problem.

It comes with four tie-down straps so you can easily and securely mount it to your pillion seat when you don’t want to wear it.

Scroll up a bit to see some pictures of how it looks inside. But here’s a quick breakdown of the internals:

  • 30L capacity
  • Padded laptop/back protector sleeve against the back wall which fits up to 17" laptops
  • Phone sleeve for easy access
  • Mesh water bottle sleeve with drawstring closure
  • Mesh zip pocket for small items
  • 4 dump pouches for your gear

Because most backpacks with so-called "waterproof" zips… aren’t.

Truly waterproof zips sound good in theory but they’re hard to open, can leak, only work if perfectly closed, and can fail over time.

That’s why this backpack uses a roll top with welded seams - a simple, proven design that’s actually waterproof and easy to use.

Plus, the top of the roll top is magnetic, so it snaps shut easily before you roll it down.

We offer an optional CE Level 2 back protector that fits securely in the laptop sleeve of the backpack.

It’s built to absorb impacts, flex with your back, and give you reliable protection while you ride.

It’s a soft shell.

However, as it is waterproof and fairly airtight, we suggest trapping some air in it when you close it. This will help it keep its shape.
